Education Creates Possibility
Helping poor and deserving students continue their studies despite financial hardship. The Foundation has supported hundreds of students to date.
Financial hardship can interrupt the education of talented and deserving students, limiting not only their personal future but also the progress of their families and communities.
Nandam OEN Foundation supports poor and needy students so that financial difficulties do not prevent them from continuing their education. Assistance is considered according to genuine need and may be extended directly or through appropriate educational channels.
The Foundation has supported hundreds of students to date and continues to regard education as one of the most effective and lasting forms of social support.
Hundreds of Students Supported
Educational assistance provided to students facing financial hardship, so that their studies could continue.
How educational support is provided
The form of support depends on the student’s circumstances and on what will most effectively allow studies to continue.
School or college fees
Support towards tuition and institutional fees where the family is unable to meet the cost.
Books and educational materials
Textbooks, notebooks, reference material and other study requirements.
Uniforms and study supplies
Uniforms, footwear, bags and everyday materials needed to attend and study.
Examination expenses
Costs associated with examinations that may otherwise prevent a student from appearing.
Exceptional hardship
Support for students facing sudden or exceptional hardship that places their studies at risk.
Through institutions
Assistance routed through recognised educational institutions where that is the appropriate channel.
Supporting education is more than meeting an immediate expense. It helps a student build confidence, independence and the ability to contribute to society.
Photographs and personal information
Photographs of students are published only where a parent or legal guardian has separately consented to publication on this website. Consent to take a photograph is not treated as consent to publish it.
A student’s name, institution, address, financial circumstances or medical details are not published unless specifically authorised and genuinely necessary. Payment and banking records relating to educational support are held confidentially and are never published.
Referring a student
Teachers, institutions, community organisations and family members may bring a student’s circumstances to the attention of the Foundation. Each referral is reviewed for authenticity, urgency, supporting documentation and available resources.
Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee financial or material support.
