Animal Welfare

Compassion for Every Living Being

Feeding and welfare support for animals, with particular emphasis on cows, and encouragement of kindness towards all living beings.

Compassion extends beyond humanity. Animals that are abandoned, unprotected or without reliable access to food also require care and kindness.

Nandam OEN Foundation maintains its own land and facility for the care of cattle, where the animals are housed, fed and looked after. Alongside this, the Foundation supports feeding initiatives and responsible caregivers, so that animals beyond its own facility also receive food and humane care.

This work reflects a wider belief that respect for life and kindness towards animals are essential values of a compassionate society.

Daily care of cattle at the Foundation’s own facility
Shaded shelter, feeding stations and a regular supply of fodder and water
Direct feeding of cows and other animals
Support to responsible caregivers and shelters elsewhere
Encouraging humane treatment and coexistence

The Foundation’s facility

The land and the facility shown on this page belong to the Foundation. The cattle are housed there, with shaded shelter, feeding stations and a regular supply of fodder and water, and are cared for day to day.
